Meet the Founder

Hannah Flynn Bogdan, Ed.D. is an expert in early childhood and childhood development with a specialization in play. As a New York State certified teacher, Hannah had been a classroom teacher for six years before beginning the Buffalo Toy Library in 2024. Through her experiences working directly with families, coupled with her ability to coordinate across community institutions, Hannah developed a passion for creating access to equitable play for all families in Western New York. In creating the Buffalo Toy Library, Hannah aims to bring families together through the most important thing: PLAY!
